Help how do I root a zeepad 7.0

IIRC towel root (https://towelroot.com/) will work on pre-kit kat kernels. Best I can tell the zeepad is 4.2, Jellybean.
Did it give an error message?
Can you go into settings | about tablet and let us know what version of Android you are using?

I just recently got a Zeepad also and you may be in luck!!, I rooted mine and it works a hell of a lot better than it did, (battery life wayyy better)
1. Go to http://www.kingoapp.com/
2. Install the program onto your computer, trust me it takes less than 5 mins max
3. Make sure you go into your developer settings and enable USB debugging.
4. Once you do that the Kingo Root program will do the rest.
