Root [DISCONTINUED][4.4.4][MS323] Carbon ROM LG L70

Okay well the new update killed softkeys and broke GPS again. Gonna keep the link in the OP for people who can live without those for now. This build feels way more stable than previous ones, haven't had any lag problems yet except for a couple seconds after first boot
 
Sorry for a noob question, just curious! By any chance, would it be possible to use any other kernel for this brilliant ROM?

Hello, obvious noob here. I was flashing this rom on my LG MS323 and I think I rushed things and missed: Wipe Data/Factory Reset & Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache steps. The rom installed correctly without errors, but upon the first boot, it just stuck on the Carbon Logo. I can seem to get into bootfast if I hold the volume up while turning the device on, but when I try to run the command "adb reboot recovery" it says "error:device not found". I really have no idea what im doing, any ideas on how to get the Carbon Rom to boot successfully?

Cant run adb commands in fastboot what i want you to do is download the recovery.img file and move it into your folder where u run cmd or terminal fastboot and adb commands ...now open up cmd or term and type" fastboot boot recovery.img"
 
Figured out keys break while rom is booting.....repeatedly push menu while rom is first starting and started to notice softkeys working and all of a sudden stopping...going to log it and see whats going on in the background (:

Thanks!! After I did this it booted up without issue. My only question now, is how do I enable the hard keys if I decide to do that? BTW love this rom.
 
Actually I did have one more question...I have a 32 gb sd card in my phone, and I am not seeing any option to move any of my apps to my SD card, this phone has low internal memory and wondering how I could use some of the storage from my SD card?

which Rom are you using? Try link2sd in the playstore and downloading lucky patcher apk off the browser ...go into lucky patcher. Patch link2sd to make it full than from there link all your downloads and such and there internal download
 
The main buttons don't work with me at all. The menu and back buttons just vibrate and the home button won't work at all. I had to activate virtual buttons, anyone know how to fix this?
 
Anyone knows source for Carbon or MIUI Rom Kernel, I wanted to mod kernel for these roms. Found a stock kernel source https://github.com/chevanlol360/Kernel_LGE_W5/tree/10C_KK/kernel but don't have linux to build (Windows 7 atm) drivers and try to fix Camera flashlight,(carbon) Hardware key issues.
Using LGE-MS323 (stock ms323b)

I know Carbon actually did have a build from source (you'll want to talk to @MikeHoncho), but otherwise MIUI is based off of @vm03's CM11.
