Help How to turn off ringer after I've used Tasker to find my phone?

I've figured out how to use Tasker and AutoRemote to turn off silent mode, turn the ringer to full volume, and then to ring when I send a specific code.
But how in the hell do I turn off the ringer once it has started ringing from the code without restarting the phone?

I would ideally like it to ring until I have found the phone (testing this for my daughter who loses her phone in the room all the time) and then upon pushing some of the buttons it would stop ringing, but that seems to be beyond my grasp with Tasker right now.

There are a few conditions you could try: Tasker can respond to e.g. a long press of the search button, or shaking the device. See http://tasker.dinglisch.net/userguide/en/help/eh_index.html for a list. So maybe you could use something like that to exit the "play ringtone" action (which I guess you are using). Or maybe the "silence ringer" action will interrupt it?
