Help Big screw up with music files

So I connected my HTC One Mini to my computer to sync some of my music. Yeah, I do use HTC Sync Manager, but when it comes to deleting some of my music, I go into the documents, then my phone's internal storage, and add/delete some of my music from there. Here is where I went wrong. I had a folder in there with music that I no longer listen to, so I moved the songs I still wanted out of it, and then preceded to delete said folder. Then, I somehow deleted my phone's entire music file instead. It took me a few seconds to realize what I had done, but considering that all that music originally came from my own cd's, I wasn't all that worried about replacing the music. I am more about the fact that I can no longer sync music to my phone. I can still manually place music into it, but I am still worried about the state of the ability to synchronize.

I guess you did re-create a Music folder before trying?

To be honest I've never used HTC Sync Manager, so am not familiar with its quirks. Do you get any sort of error message when you try?

No, there wasn't any message that popped up. It would show it synchronizing, but the manager finished instantly and said it was done, but there was no content showing up on my phone. Like, it synchronized all the songs that it could, which is none. However, I manually dumped music straight into the internal storage, not onto any files, and the music still ended up on my phone. Since I can do that, I'll just live with it and stay away from sync manager.
