Help Texts from iphones?

I currently cannot get texts from some of my co-workers. They all have iphones except for one, yet they cannot text me in group texts. One has a galaxy, while the rest have iphonez. They can see my messages, but cannot reply. They reply in singular messages. I have a galaxy 5S. Please help!

Are there texts going via imessage? That can be a common issue when sending SMS from iPhones to android handsets.

Are there any other default message apps? I had my friends disable imessage and it still does notbwork. Keep in mind it also seems that my friend with a galaxy 4 cannot either. Also a friend with iPhone can text me yet he has a iphone. It's just group messages. They can text sololy

Try hangouts (that's the Google chat/SMS app).

There's also Textra, or I use QKSMS.

If it's just group messaging, is your SMS app setup to receive group chats as MMS?

I'll move this to the SGS5 forum, see if the folks there have any better ideas.

I do not wish to download a 3rd party app, I believe it may be a problem on TN e iphone users side. Could that be true?

I have seen people complain about this if you google it and the solution was to tell people not to send you text using Imessage. Don't have an Iphone so have no clue. I know I have texted my nephew about a few things from my S5 and he has an Iphone since he works for apple and his texts came through. Mary
