Help Very very annoying...

So. Today I was using my browser "Chrome" and it started acting up. Every time I tried to click on ANYTHING, a pop up would appear with the address of cdn.mobicow.com/feed/detect and redirect me to the Google Play store wanting me to download games. I cannot browse anything without these annoying ads constantly in my face. I have downloaded additional browsers that work fine. It seems to happen when my Wifi is enabled. And yes, I DO have Chromes pop up blocker enabled.

Any help...please. I have scanned my device over and over and it is safe apparently...

Install this and a scan should find the evil app causing the problem:

Just uninstall the offender.

Google ads have been hijacked, it varies by user, is a big problem, and they're well aware of it.

Hope this helps.

If not, switch to Dolphin browser, add on its ad blocker, that helps or eliminates the problem.

I hadn't heard about this. Jeez I'm glad I use Firefox instead of Chrome...

Yep. I thought I was lucky but just yesterday started getting them haha. Just from clicking on Android Questions. Hope they fix soon because I pretty much just use chrome for the convenience.
