G900P Sprint & Boost Mobile phones are currently downloading the 5.0 update.
Not sure if Virgin mobile has it too as they are a Sprint holding also.

Not a new Lollipop release but one of the many updates to Lollipop that Samsung release on a regular basis to unbranded phones, see #1.3 of 35 Galaxy S5 models - know yours???

What makes this one interesting is that among the many changes and improvements that Samsung have made, is the addition of the Mute toggle in Sound and Screen Pinning.

This is the 13th FEB: build, OB7, for the unbranded UK International model, SM-G900F which received its original Lollipop release on the 13th Jan:

Hi ironass, can you help, I have the SM-G900F UK Unbranded, some weeks ago I installed via Odin the Baseband version G900FXXU1BNL9 firmware, I now notice that the new firmware on the SamMobile site for my model and country is G900FXXU1BoB7, should I download and install this new version, or leave it as it is, thanks for your help. Phil

That's the trouble with having the worldwide, International, model... we're spoilt for choice when it comes to flashing the latest firmwares! :D

I would definitely recommend you download and flash G900FXXU1BoB7 as it is the very latest build for Lollipop from Samsung and has both Mute and Screen Pinning. I'm also finding it a lot smoother and slicker than even the OA3 build. Just follow the instructions and video contained in the links of #1.11 of 35 Galaxy S5 models - know yours??? (Note the warning about flashing firmwares for CSC codes other than your own)

here I am trying to avoid all the Verizon 5.0 misadventures, and you guys run outside and get on your Merry Go Rounds and pick and choose any ole software version you want.... ;)

Its not all fun and games for those of us on the International, worldwide, model, G900F, you know.

Imagine the decisions we International users have to make, almost every day. :confused:

There are around 150+ firmwares, all with English language packs and GSM compatible and Samsung are issuing updates and releases and bugfixes all the time. We have to decide things like... do we want carrier or unbranded firmware. Then, just as you think that you are settled... BAM! Samsung bring out a whole new version of Lollipop with extra features and under-the-hood tweaks and you're flashing it in about 7 minutes! This can all happen in the space of 6 days on unbranded models and 21 days for lightly branded phones. Since the first Lollipop launch for Poland at the beginning of December 2014, I have had around 12 different stock Samsung Lollipop firmwares on my phone. Don't even get me started about all the custom ROMs that are available for the International model!!!

Far simpler to be on a minority carrier variant that only has 1 firmware, hand crafted for you by your service provider, that is automatically flashed to your phone without you having to think about it. Not to mention, that you don't have to worry for a couple of months or so that there will be a new update for you to contend with or those pesky bugfix updates. Plus, by the time you get your firmware update, it is already old news to the rest of the world and any questions you may have will already have been answered on Android Forums, thus saving you all the hassle of having to post and wait for replies. Last but not least, because your firmware comes pre-installed with so many carrier system apps, you don't have to spend all that time scouring the Play Store as there probably isn't much room or RAM to run too many extra apps.

I don't know AZgl1500 ... you just don't know how lucky you are! :p
