Root Let's Get CM Onto Avant!

Dude... awesome work. Tested for a few mins and it is FAST!!! besides the touch screen freezing i did notice it kept switching down to 3g. Idk if its bc its a build from the t mobile version or what but even when i switched to the metro apn, was still having the same problem. The wifi tether works as long as you have a ua switcher on your computer for those who are curious about that. I didnt try to call my other line so cant speak to te audio muted in calls but all in all im excited to see how this rom progresses. Thank you so much for your time youve put into this. Keep up the good work
 
Here's what works so far. 3g/4g/lte, WiFi, WiFi tether, GPS, torch, themes, bluetooth, SMS, MMS, Play services, and FM radio (no sound so not exactly sure if it really is). Fix the screen bug, Camera, get sound working, and maybe pepper in some WiFi calling and this ROM is rdy to be used as a daily driver :)
 
Switching back to stock, hope I was able to answer a few questions for those not willing to test just yet but the hard part is over (mostly). Good things are coming rest assured :) 1 other thing I noticed. Plugged it into my computer, it shows in device manager as working but doesn't show in my computer to access the SD cards (windows 8.1 64bit)

flashing it now just to get a test run for myself going... Finished flashing while typing this lol. God this phone soar's when there's no touchwiz.
 
I did a little test run just for shiggles and I'm in love already. I'm not going to bother anyone with bug reports right now since this is an alpha build. It seems like the best thing to do is let you work on the bugs you already know about rather than flood the thread with bug reports. Good luck guys and great work so far.
 
Tried flashing with cwm on my galaxy core lte, couldn't flash. "Incompatible data" why an I not able to flash this when I could with the slim rom on the XDA forums?

Wow I'm shocked at how many things are working usually its the gps, LTE, etc that does not work. So most of the hard part is done. I love that it is taking up much less ram than touchwiz. For a first build this very promising. I used to have the F6 and pretty much all the kk based Roms were half-baked.
 
Nevermind, I had to wipe the partitions before installing. It installed but stays at "starting apps". This is on the Galaxy Core LTE

So to Rehash you guys built a working CWM Rom in a week?!? God thats excellent, gonna download the rom right now. I'll let you know if I come across any bugs.
