S5 and S5 dual sim: how easy is it to remove SIMs cards?

I am considering the S5 or its dual SIM version.

How easy is it to remove sim cards? Is there enough room to actually push the SIM from one end outwards?

I have a Note 3 and sometimes removing a SIM card is a huge pain; I can only guess that some SIMs must be a fraction of a millimeter wider, but that must be enough to keep them stuck inside. A quick google search seems to suggest the problem is more frequent with Samsung than with other brands, but I'd like to hear from the users.

I swap SIMs when I travel between two specific countries, and I have just damaged the microsd contacts on my Note 3 because one SIM was stuck and I applied too much pressure to get it out

Thanks!

Pull the back off,
click the release button and out it comes.

What do you mean by release button? Watching videos on youtube I haven't found any release buttons.

With most cameras, when you put an SD card in, you hear a click, and then if you push it again you hear another click and it comes out. The SIM slots of most Samsung phones seem very different. I have had two SIMs stuck in my Note 3 so far, and searching forums and google I am not the only one. That's why I am very keen on understanding if the S5 is any different.
Thanks

I think you are quite correct, I have never taken mine out.
It is a push and release just like a cabinet door.

With the Verizon S5 (at least my wifes and mine), you cannot just push the sim in until it clicks and then remove it. You have to push down and out at the same time and it can be very difficult to remove. I do now know why you can't just push it in and have it "pop" out like other phones. The current way makes it very easy to damage it.

I believe you can use a paper clip type device to put in the hole toward the back of the Sim slot and help push it out.

This, and Samsun's bloatware (why does the Sony Z3 have ca. 12 GB of space available for the user, and the S5 about 8, yet they are both 16GB models?) are the key considerations which led me to ditch Samsung for a Sony Z3 dual sim (D6633).
Most users will probably never change their SIM; I frequently travel between two countries so must often swap 2 different SIMs. The last time I did so, the SIM ended up stuck in the slot of my Note 3, and I damaged the microsd contacts in getting it out. I briefly considered an S5, but it seems to have the same problem, so Iwent for a Sony Z3: the dual sim model will save me the hassle of swapping SIMs, but even the single sim verison would be better because it has a SIM tray
