How do I search my gmail, contacts, memos, user/system/ SD card, google Drive-- all, at the same time on Android?

I've been on Android for about 4 years and have yet to figure this out, with total satisfaction. I've used "Power Search" which did a pretty good job, but wasn't everything. Now, it wont even work on any new devices. One area where the sharp organizers of 1991 were way ahead of anything Google.

There is nothing play store, other than total garbage. Help!
 
IIRC universal search was something Android had, then Apple patented it and forced its removal from Android.
 
How could Multi database search be anything that they would have patented properly, when sharp was doing it long before Apple ever made any organizational products. Even before sharp (early 90s, possibly 80s), Electric desk was a product from 1982-84 which could let you do this multi database search. Let me see, didn't they also sue vocaltec (now magicjack, the first voip app) , who owned iphone.com since the early nineties, long before the iPhone was ever thought of. I see, courts are crooked, and can be paid off.

within Google settings app ..."search and now"..."phone search" there are options for what to search...apps, contacts plus a few more categories

I've tried this before with little luck searching the calendar and other important databases. However on this device the Google app is not up to date and I didn't have enough space to update it. I only have 240 megabytes left. Will take me about an hour to figure out how to get into a setting that will work to try this time, plus I'm already down to 90 percent of the needed applications and no games.
 
okay uninstalled google plus inorder to install google search update. but unfortunately it is not working, even when telling it to search the calendar etc. It only searches google still, not a pimsearch. If I fully type a contact name, it suggests my contact. No partial string search. , so billparkis unsearchableif I can only rememberlast name. Then, impossible to pullup any contact matching , say, 957 . no luck at all, searching calendar with it. just searches google.
