This time around the BOGO as we call it was not really advertised heavily and not a lot of people know about it. But it's simple....

Second phone MUST always be a new activation, be placed in the same account as the first phone and it must be equal or lesser value of the first phone... oh and it must be a qualifying BOGO phone (so not all phones you can get for free)

The first phone can be ANY phone and it can be a new activation OR an upgrade.

For the Metro Promise it gets a bit confusing.. If you bought 2 new lines and you want to get the metro Promise on the one you actually bought, YOU MUST return the second phone as well. HOWEVER, you can do a metro promise on the free phone without having to return the first phone and they will refund your first month.

If the First phone is an upgrade, you can still return the second phone for a Metro promise but you cannot return the upgraded one for a refund.
 
So what's the best free phone you can actually get? I'm looking for a list on their website of the ones available but can't find one.
