Anyhoo, this makes me sad.

I was/am a huge fan of the LoK/Soul Reaver games and to see development stopped on another game in the series which was as far along as this.....

Cant believe this was cancelled either when it was so far through developement!!
Must be absolutely gutted if you were one of the designers that worked on it.

Though I really do want the next installment to continue the kain/Raziel saga rather than start with new characters,
Defiance was such an epic story I wish they would continue it somehow!!

I think this was supposed to have ties to Raziel/Kain later in the game.

I know the games were always technically about Kain, but I always preferred Raziel.

Have you seen the freemium multiplayer thing they've done?

I've had a quick look at it and it looks cool, have to admit the vampire gameplay looks good.
But the plot is separate again!

I didn't really get to play that much of the soul reaver games so I prefer the kain from defiance
