Help Nexus 5 Search Screen

On my new nexus 5, how do I get rid of this annoying screen (search this that and the other thing) that appears after swiping my screen to unlock and use every time...Not just on power up...Similar to pic below

Stop swiping left to right. Thumb up from lower center part of the display and it will unlock to last screen open before you locked

Basically this ^^^

When you swipe from left edge of screen on the lockscreen, it takes you to the dialer. When you swipe right edge of screen, it takes you straight to the camera app. Just swipe from the middle bottom of the screen to unlock your phone like normal.
