Apparently whoever made that page didn't like what u said or called them out.. This is what I got when attempting the link.. Similar results on stock browser too.

Xposed installer & GravityBox (KK) on my Warp 4G.. I went back to the warp3 until root progress can be achieved on our Syncs (warp4) or I accidentally destroy this 4G like the previous unfortunates before the Sync. TBH.. I definitely miss it. Most apps that had issues on previous models worked flawlessly on the Sync.. Like the ancient version of Tiny Flashlight + LED that has everything still there without having to DL 10 more apps to finish reinstalling extra light sources. I really like the LED lighting up with a light shake on unlock screen. And yes, I'll happily share it with a simple PM. I am NOT the Dev of the app, I just really like the previous version way better!
 
I was looking into something the yesterday. I had used a program called Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry I downloaded the new build V36 and it is a no go. But, I have used this on on ZTE phones in the past. Maybe we can get with this guy.

Also I found a link here http://androidforums.com/threads/ne...s-with-the-new-sdcard-update-from-zte.786236/ that uses rebooting to FTM mode while using SRS root, it is for the ZTE Force 4g LTE. which is kind old but the process might work for other rooting tools. Never know something like this might work.

Hi all I just bought my root a few day ago. I have had a force / sequent / warp (chronologically). I never got the sequent rooted but I got the warp and force rooted. I would love to get this phone rooted is there anything I can do to help speed up the process?

Umm.. Find a Rooting exploit for a ROM that's locked from the inside out by ZTE themselves.. This is really a wicked phone that would probably smoke a Galaxy S4 if Rooted & ROM'd out. I'm kinda bent about not being able to root this thing..
 
I am wondering if something like this will work. http://forum.xda-developers.com/zte-z7/general/upgrade-z7-max-to-lollipop-5-0-t3053880/post59449082 (For ZTE Z7, Z7 max and Z7 mini) It uses a temporary recovery method and mentions unlocking bootloader. It is in chinese of course, but the guy made some english instructions. I might try to do something like this later and see what happens. I am thinking this is what we need, either a signed update file to install root files or something on a deep level.
 
I surely hope the Warp Sync can see the days of root soon. I own the N9520 Max and the N9515 Warp Sync. My Max is rooted with Philz Touch Recovery and am praying it gets some Lollipop action. As for my Warp Sync with its specs just having it rooted is enough for me to get rid of bloatware and have apps to SD options opened. I don't care to tether WiFi since I have WiFi at home and just about everywhere I go. I'm thinking of posting a video to YouTube to try and attracted devs to work on some Zte devices. I think the only one I know of is Super R currently with the N9520.
 
Has anyone asked SuperR for help. I know he had worked on the other ZTE phones. I think someone will have to edit the boot.img
 
Yes I did. A week before I got the Sync the following several weeks after I got it. He even built & compiled the boot.img.. Our problem is that: as of this point we can't figure out a way to swap out or flash the boots due to lack of access to Fastboot/boot loader modes
 
I am looking at some stuff now. I can't download the files at the moment due to slow internet. But we can get into Download Mode by holding down both volume buttons and turning the phone on. I am wondering if we can use something like this. https://sites.google.com/site/zteopenfirmware/download-mode you can flash various files in download mode. Or something like this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2163493 (Method 5 : ZTE Firmware Flasher) , I think low level access through download mode or FTM is the key. If or when we can get a recovery on this phone, from what I read it will replace FTM.
 
The NanDL for firefox does connect to your phone in download mode. You could possibly flash the edited boot.img with it. possibly even recovery. Important step would be to make a backup of your current files first, that way if the flash goes bad you can reflash the backup. I am working a good bit the next few days so I can't do much testing. My long weekend doesn't start until thursday.
 
Hi That sounds great. I would love to help in any way I can. I was just about to return my sync. I need wifi tethter as a backup internet connection. There is a a power crisis where I live.

Also I would love to get rid of crap like lumen toolbar that just eats up my battery for no reason!

Plz let me know what I can do.
 
how good is the Dolby Digital Plus? does it work with Headphones or the speaker or both? and does it come with an equalizer/right to left sound fix?

Honestly? I'm not usually the biggest fan of Dolby as their effects were usually no better than others, but was completely blown away by this one!
