Lollipop Messaging with Note 4

So on the Note 4 the messaging app with lollipop is orange. Is there a way to change the color?

I wish I knew how to get rid of that hideous color as well. Who the hell chose that as the winner?

i switch between hangouts, textra, and google messenger. i'm a little OCD...lol
