Bad enough

Newbie
Dear concern,
Can you please tell me why my note 4 getting hot after update lolipop.i bought this two days ago..please help me out

Thank you for your kind reply. Do you know when lolipop next update will come? galaxy s6 get android 5.0.2 thats why im asking.. Hope this update will help My note 4..

I posted this on the "Verizon Lollipop Update" thread. It may help battery life and hot battery issues:
"try powering off, popping out the battery for 30" or longer, then putting it back in and powering up again... may help battery life."

Can try this before doing the more arduous factory data reset. Not sure it will be effective, but nothing to lose by trying.

wow..Thax Earlymon...can you please tell me which one best 1.Made in China 2.Made in vietnam by samsung
All I can offer is that genuine Samsung products are best and will meet their quality control standards regardless of final assembly point.

I'm aware of many Chinese counterfeits of Samsung phones - even the box will fool you.

However, Samsung has phone manufacturing in China, Vietnam and several other countries. As you may know, most are made in Vietnam -

Personally, I'm sure that I'd be equally happy with any genuine Samsung regardless of where it was made.

its a nice and clear satisfactory answer earlymon..Thx a lot again.....In my phone -back side below the battery "Made in Vietnam" but when i installed phone info from android market i saw country origin " made in china ".i bought from UAE. im little dissapointed about this issue.on the other hand my phone is original im preety much sure. its so confusing

Yeah, sounds confusing.

Check out "CPU-Z"

If it says MediaTek processor - it is counterfeit.

If it doesn't - or if the application crashes or locks up your phone so you have to turn off and on - it's genuine.

My experience is that sometimes the high speed of the genuine product will cause the lock up. It's harmless.

Uninstall when done.

The kernel string can be a giveaway of knock-off Samsung as well. If it says "KST" after the build date and time, you should be OK, if it says "CST", very likely got a fake. And that certainly holds true with all the ones I've seen, including real Samsungs that were made in China. Also if it's spelled as "Saugsnmg" or has Vs in the name, that's likely a counterfeit as well.

My last Galaxy phone was "Made in China by Samsung"....no problems at all.
