Help Failed at rooting.. now can't load android!!

Totally new at all this.. i just wanted to update to 5.0 and ended up messing up my phone!!

Just got this phone a few days ago and so it asked me to update and was taken to team win recovery proj.
It said device not rooted, and asked me to root and i swiped yes.. Then the phone was stuck on the LG screen while led blinking.

I figured out how to do the "factory reset" to take me to the twrp options.. but now i dont know what to do from here.

Tried to reboot system, but when i do, it just stays on the LG screen.

At this point, i don't care about losing all data.. i just want to be able to use my phone again!!!

Any help on how i can get back to my system using twrp? Thanks..
 
Do you think the ota update applied or did it just go straight to twrp and nothing else? Did you ever make a backup in twrp previously? I'm not exactly sure where you're at here.
 
No, it went staright to twrp when asked to update. I had never seen this before so i was just browsing options until it asked me if i wanted to root device and i said yes. That was my mistake. Basically, I'm stuck in this mode and when i try to reboot, it just takes me to LG screen and phone won't start.
 
This is what I would do;
If you can get into download mode,I would go back to stock firmware and start over.
I know its a lot of work.
This will put the original firmware on your phone and after your done,You can do all the os updates then reroot your device with Stump Root.

Be sure to use the proper variant and remove your sim card before flashing back to stock as it will wipe it clean,Then put your sim card in after you flash the firmware.
