Help screen ghosting

Hi everyone.
I am on a lg l70 d320n with CyanogenMod 12.1
Im always on full brightness and i am experiancing screen ghosting. So what ever has been displayed on my screeb fir more than 1 min will stay dimly on the screen. Ive only noticed it on the top area of the screen and its usually the messenger name tag that ghosts but sometimes ither things ghost. Could anyone help me fix the issue with the IPS display?
Thanks for your time

That's unpossible.

It's REALLY hard to get permanent ghosts on an LCD - you have to have an out of bounds condition persist until you induce a permanent degradation in the LC material.

However - it's possible that max brightness is somehow over-driving the transistor control matrix - that could lower their response time.

And if the screen feels much warmer when ghosting is happening then you could be in or approaching a state where the transistors or the LC chemicals are being driven to degradation.

If you turn it down a notch, does the problem go away? If so, is it still acceptably bright?

Well should it be ghosting on full brightness? I like it on full. Ive only noticed it in cyanogenmod rom not stock. Ive had the phone for about 1 year

No telling - if the CM drivers are running things a little too hot, you can decrease the brightness control and the screen won't dim below the stock max brightness.

Hence my suggestion.

I have no idea if it's true but could be worth trying to see.

Well putting my brightness down does fix it but on full brightness it looks the same brightness as it did on stock rom

Have you run the stock rom lately (nandroid etc etc)?

If not, good to check if the problem is there as well now, yeah?
I have only used cm for 3 weeks and would rather not go back as nandroid from cm to stock is not compatible. Id have to flash a kdz. But i havent been on stock that long ago, and never noticed it ever. I also just slowly moved the drop down notifications bar in lollipop up and ut dissapeard as it transitiond from the grey of the notufication bar to the green accent of default browser. Eather it only shows on grey or its a glitch in graphics rendering of some sort

Thing is, Stock HAS a safety feature that prevents ghosting. When it notices it's to hot, it only lets you have a specific brightness. That's why in CM you have ghosting. Because when it heats it isn't supposed to be on full blast.
