Phones that Boost supports

Where can I find a list of phones that work with Boost Mobile but aren't necessarily sold through/sold as a Boost Mobile Phone? Or rather/and what phones are supported. (Doesn't necessarily need to be in list/article form).

Wow, the new Sprint rules about BYOD must have really affected that list, there used to be about three times as many phones you could bring to Boost.

Yeah. This must have just happened. The list was much longer recently. I was surprised when I saw how many they took away.

Source? How and where?

Here is the current list copied straight from Boost site.

HTC EVO 3D
HTC EVO 4G
HTC EVO Shift 4G
LG G2
Samsung Epic 4G
Samsung Epic 4G Touch
Samsung Galaxy Note 3
Samsung Galaxy S III 16 GB
Samsung Galaxy S III 32 GB
Samsung Galaxy S4
Samsung Galaxy S4T
Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini

It would have to be a Sprint Note 3 that is not in a contract, not currently active, and hasn't been stolen/lost. Swappa.com is a good place for used phones.

LG G2 or Note 3?
I talked to a CSR at Boost last week about activating a Sprint LG G2 on my account and she said it was allowed. I didn't bother with it at the time so I don't know if she was telling the truth or not.

You can buy a new LG G2 from a Boost store for $279. The Best Buy Sprint model was $249 off contract.

LG G2 is on the allowed list I posted yesterday. See post #8. I think it's safe to say the rep was correct.

I do wonder if you can use a new one like you mentioned. Don't see why not if you paid for it off contract.

I bought the Sprint LG G2 from Best Buy for $150. I called Boost from my S3 and activated it.

You need to charge the phone up because it will do 3 OTA to go to Lollipop. These OTA are about 2GB so use Wi-Fi. My battery was at 50 percent out of the box and it charges quickly.

Turn off the phone before you activate.

They just need the decimal MEID. Tell them it is Sprint. They might do something to re-sku it.

The rep I had was not good. He told me he couldn't do it...Twice. I had to insist upon a supervisor. He put me on hold. When he came back he apologized. I turned off my S3 and turned on my G2 and it was off to the races.

I don't have Wi-Fi at home but I immediately had LTE on the G2 which was at rare occurance on the S3. I have the 10GB plan but because of the OTA I am now throttled until the 28th so be warned.

This phone is awesome. Buy it before they run out.
