It's official. Tomorrow I will be buying a new device, another low-end LG device that has no work on it yet lol. Just want to thank everyone here who has helped me and other L70 users, keep up the hard work. Huge thanks to @vm03 for all of your continued work on this device, L70 users are blessed to have such an amazing Developer support their device. This device helped me gain so much knowledge, share work and meet Developers. It was fun but now it's time for a new device. Take care everyone :)
 
Damn, I hope you go do bigger and better projects for another LG Devices.

Your work will not be forgotten. Without your bootloader unlock and CWM this device might have never seen the light of day. These ROMs here would've never been available.

I wouldn't advise any MetroPCS users to buy one anytime soon. I cant get the KDZ from LG and also there is not a way to get to download mode at the moment. Just a warning for you L70 users :p

For KDZ, have you tried via that link where you put your IMEI? It's in that thread by Litros.
There's also one more way, via PC suite. You go to repair options, connect the phone, blah, blah... Once download starts, search in LG folders, or application data (I forgot where exactly it stores kdz). You should also find there dll file for your device. That's how I got kdz before IMEI link trick. Hope this helps.
 
I have tried that. There are volume buttons, just realized it's like the G3 has. I will try the suite thing you mentioned though

I've done that long time ago, damn, cannot remember where it's stored. But it's fairly easy to find. Just remember to unplug device on time, lol :D

I see, Leon on MTK platform, try universal MTK SP Flash Tool (it also available for Linux).
 
The LG Leon has a download mode and can be rooted if you where wondering. The LG Power, the Leon on TracFone, can't be rooted because it has no download mode. The LG Leon is a great phone for its price, but we need a little more dev support for it.
 
Well, you will be missed my friend. If it wasnt for you, we wouldnt even have CyanogenMod. You made these things possible, and I hope your genius is recongnized by more and more people.
 
Vm is the reason for CM and all of these other beautiful ROMs (built from source from his tree), he is the real deal. I just got lucky and did a few things :D

Does PC Suite need to be for my specific device? Where could I find it?
 
I don't see repair options. Could you link me to a thread maybe? lol

Edit: Chevan talked to sammyz, seems like LG stopped posting kdz files after the F60. I think PC Suite connects to their server via IMEI and fetches it that way, but there is nothing there for my device

Maybe it isn't even called that way, but that's definitely how I got my first kdz. That was a long time ago, so I have to check myself, maybe lg changed something. When I investigate, I will report back.
