Root ZTE Warp Sync - All Things Root Guide

So you use both toguether isn't that kinda overkill ? thought they were basically equalizers but i could be wrong , always heard V4A gives ur phone incredible sound but worried about battery drain and ended up using DSP Manager instead which by the way sounds great on my Sequent but then again i don't use it a lot.
I've had both phones & the Sync is "a completely different animal." The Dolby was impressive but I'm running the V4A on my Warp 4G and have to say that it's Superior sound capabilities. As for battery drain? Not really a big diff.. gonna include V4A in JollyRoger 4G as well, it'll do it justice

I will definetely give V4A a shot once i get the Sync ;)

i normally just copy and paste it to system/priv-app with root browser set permissions then i reboot then I'm good to go lol
If that works for u & ur Sync then Right on. I was throwing out there how I got my V4A working, glitch &/or F/C free. Who knows? I may have been the difficult one! Lmao

Wondering if someone would do me a favor and flash this zip from TWRP. It will not harm your phone or change it in any way. No need for wiping anything either. It will only copy the aboot partition (aka bootloader) to /sdcard/aboot.img. Please upload that file once you have it (about 8MB). Thanks a bunch in advance :)

I get 400 Bad request when I click on your zip download link

I read thru the post but I did not see the new root process. Can someone repost or direct me to the link. My phone is currently fully unrooted and ready to go

I actually used the same app to root my Verizon tablet (the Ellipsis 8). That thing was previously un-rootable. Anyway, to answer your question, the basics of rooting with this app is to go to the website www.kingroot.net (it's in chinese) click on the big blue button. This takes you to the next page, click on the first blue download link for KingRoot. Go ahead and install that onto your device. Now from what I have heard, before you run the app seriously swamp your phone with running apps and processes. Then run the app and tap on the circle button. Eventually you will get a checkmark in the circle. The app will also install something called KingUser. This is more or less a replacement for SuperSU or any other Super User app. It IS in english and it works great.
follow this

Thanks, but I knew about this method already. I wanted to use SuperSU as my root agaent and not Kinguser. I believe SuperR made a TWRP flash-able root.

You need to have root so you can flash twrp with flashity and install the new ROM that will replace kinguser and install SuperSU

Ok but where are files the post say edited.
Here is the TWRP thread. It has instructions and a link to the root instructions that you need before flashing TWRP. Once TWRP is flashed, you can install the deodexed stock rom where I removed all traces of King root and added SuperSU.
Thanks for answering, but will you please remove the zip file of the recovery? I would prefer it only be linked to avoid confusion and problems. Thanks :)
