hi, i received an email from a htc1 latest model. my email had the following code at the end of it... u838D\uDEO1\u838D\uDEOE can someone tell me what that means please, id be really grateful as im not really tech minded

Codes looking like that, of seemingly random stuff at the end of emails can be public encryption keys. Which the recipient may use to encrypt an email when responding to the sender. But it will usually state something like "My public key is:..."

Or could be a signing hash, that you verify to ensure that the original sender of the message is in fact who they say they are.

Or a string of unicode characters intended to draw an emoji or something.

I searched and found them being used on Asian websites but without the right localization I couldn't really get anywhere, even with help from Mr Google.

if localization means u.k thats where the message(email) came from came from.

Korea/Japan/China, most probably Japanese in this case but who knows
