Help Moving files

ComaAlpha

Ok, I have already used my home laptop to open my phone and move an MP3 of "It Ain't Like That" by Alice in Chains to my ringtones folder. And put music in the music folder. And then move a bunch of stuff to the SD card once I bought one. But for some reason, my laptop refuses to open my phone again.

I got a genesis emulator from the google play store and it said that I needed to use a computer to put roms into the right directory folder. My laptop won't do it, so now I'm at my public library to use their computer. But now when I go to move anything from my thumb drive to the phone, it just says it's copying while the status bar is at a standstill. I'm guessing I can leave it like that for hours and it will never be done copying the file. I don't know what to do. Any help?

Library and public computers are never a good place to try and do this sort of thing anyway, plugging your own phone in. Usually because they're locked down for security reasons, and so can't install any drivers or software.

Try transferring the files wirelessly with your computer at home. You have WiFi?

That's what I use, Airdoid, install on the phone, and then only needs a browser on the computer.
