Help About increasing ram on android via swapping

I need to root my device to increase ram.
But what if I do my job with the SP Flash mini tool, create a swap via app and then unroot, will it still work?
I really dont like rooting because the only thing in this world that can root my device properly is this <link removed as site hosts pirated software>
and with MTK Droid tools is very risky and I cant make a backup and its too complicated

If you are rooted you can remove some bloatware. there's not much else to improve ram that in know of but maybe you can elaborate what you had in mind.

If your question is about root, specify your device, and use device forum if available.

Lets take it another way.
1.OP makes a swap partition file via swapper app after partitioning sd card with a tool.
2.OP unroots his device.
3.OP asks if the swap file is working after unrooting.

Ill check the link thx.

that app is the only one working yet root is impossible without CWM and yet that thing works, its a chinese device that only god knows so please dont recommend me forums cause I cry

Depends on the nature of the the swapper app and depends after that how you unrooted.

If the app did a one-time change to the system startup files - and if unrooting just means that superuser was removed, the modification would very probably survive.

If the unrooting restored any part of the modified /system partition, or if the app sets up a privileged process that runs AFTER boot up initialization, then it anywhere from probably to definitely is going to be a lost feature.

I've seen this mod done in a lot of different ways over the years, so all I can say is it's a good question and the answer depends on those other factors.

In my experience (because root is needed to create the partition) anything that needs root to be created or accessed will always need it. Like links2sd, apps2sd etc. From what I've read and understand removing root will corrupt or nullify whatever links you've created and as far as the swap partition as virtual ram when you remove root...well that's above my pay grade. Maybe @EarlyMon can chime in and shed some light on this. Plus you're using an MTK device so I'm not experienced at all in that area.

**Edit**
Disregard! He already did lol.

Its called swapper on market place. It creates a file on sd card and thats it.

Also, before adding swap file, you need to format sd card. After creating it, I can put my files safely on the sd right?

I did do this on my mini 2 by following xda tut with cwm and it said I just need to create swap file after partitioning sd card.

Sorry, that's very different from the many other mods I'm familiar with, so I guess the best thing would be to ask in the XDA tutorial - that way, you'll get the correct answer instead of a guess by me.
