Help Sorting Pictures on LG G4

Hey everyone!

I just upgraded to the g4 today after having an iPhone for 2.5 years. I had all my pictures transferred at the verizon store. They were put into a folder called Mobile Contents. I'm knew to the Android operating system but is there a way for then yup be sorted by date? I have over 2000 pictures and they're in a random order so it's a little hard to manage.

Depends on the Gallery app. I use a Samsung so don't know about LG, but on my phone the Gallery settings has a sort hy date option

Do you think that since all the photos were transferred over at once, the dates would all be the same?

The sorting should follow the Exif data AFAIK, which isn't affected by moving the files around.

That is a good thought but I couldn't tell you the answer. Still no luck

Why couldn't you tell the answer? Does the LG gallery app have no timeline function? Perhaps you can use the Google Photos app as your gallery instead.
