MXQ box

For the life of me I cannot get any video picture centered on the television. Video calibration doesn't help. I've been over the system and cannot fix my problem. Even the credits at the end of the movie are slightly off the screen and off to the right. Help, thanks in advance.

Here you go... Settings, Display, 'Display position' (last bit not obvious) Then click the + or - to alter the screen display

Thank you, somehow magically the problem has self corrected itself, possibly by an update. I'll look into what you've posted and explore that also, so if the problem rears it's ugly head again. So, thanks for the feed back. I've been enjoying movies that are centered perfectly of late. Go figure!

Thats good to hear. That was 12 days old, are there not loads of techie people on here as opposed to users? Lots of posts have 0 replies??

My new MXQ box has a similar problem but my picture only covers the top left quarter of the screen 90 odd % of the time but occasionally on 1 or 2 apps fills the screen. The advice that Rhys gives above doesn't work for me.

There's a lot of techie people on AF, but problem with many of these cheapo "MX", "MXQ" and and other Kodi boxes is they're just simply defective, buggy or DOA, due to poor R&D and QA by the anonymous manufacturers. I guess the OP was lucky, but many times you're best just doing an RMA to the vendor for a refund or replacement, because usually nothing else can be done. And that's advice coming from a techie person on AF. :)

I skip all the posts that simply have 'Help me!', or something similarly vague, in the title.
I suspect I'm not alone! ;)

If there is something in the title to help identify the issue then maybe posts would get a lot more views and replies.
