I just got my stylo last month when i had to give my daughter my zmax. Im looking to make phone better. Like camera apps, increased usage, best music free download apps for this phone. I have found this phone needs additional apps. Im not phone app savy but not happy w phone like my zmax. Can someone help give ideas to make phone more fun and useful.. I know i know i sound stupid but hey always good to ask...

which carrier do you have and what OS did it come with 5.0.2 or 5.1.1?

okay since you're on Metro you may be able to root and have a more wide selection of apps, and please don't ask for free music downloading apps, but i will recommend Pandora, Google Music and iHeart radio.

Google Play Music(gpm) is my favorite. If you have an ad-blocker it'll be commercial free with unlimited skips... At least that's been my experience thus far. Google also lets you upload up to 50,000 of your own music files for free to stream on all your devices through gpm.
Also this equalizer app integrates well with gpm and can be accessed from the gpm settings. You can add different EQ profile buttons to your home screen for different genres of music...

Drippler - It has updates/reviews/how to's/recommendations for all kinds of apps on a daily basis.
GasBuddy - check gas prices in your area.
Here - a great GPS navigation app that you can use WITHOUT a data connection.
Rewards - from Google, get free Google Play store credit for taking very short surveys.
Appstore - from Amazon, they give away a free app everyday.
AppGratis - another free app a day app.
I found out about most of these via the Drippler app (plus various games).

And, if you can, buy the XCam LG Settings app. Set Quality to 100 and turn noise reduction off--it makes a big improvement.
