Apps How to test my app on an actual device?

Hi, I'm starting to learn android app development with the help of coursera. I want to test my first app on my own phone. I connected my mobile (karbonn - android 4.2.2) to the laptop via USB. I also enabled developer options on my phone in the settings. But when I hit 'RUN' from android studio, the dialog doesn't show my phone in the list of running devices. I'm able to run the app on the emulator only. Why? I'm uploading screen shots of my phone settings after connecting. Please help....

Hi George, Thank you so much for the information. Yeah, its windows 8.1. Actually I wanted to thank you yesterday itself. But I thought that it would be more appropriate to try and install the driver and then thank you with the good news. But I struggled a lot and failed. I downloaded a number of drivers from many sites, but none of them gets installed. Showing some error or the other. I'm attaching the screen shots of errors. Actually I tried many more and got various errors. Can you guide me further? I tried in Karbonn website. No drivers are available. I sent a query to their support team. But no response yet.

Any way, your answer showed me the right direction. So thanks for that again. :)

Do you have system administrator rights on your PC? It looks like you don't have permission to install drivers.
 
I have a single user account on my laptop and it is administrator account. See the screen shots.
I will try this link and come back again. Thank you.

Sorry George. I tried this one also. again the same error - System administrator has set policies to prevent this installation. If I know what policies I should change, I can try. No luck again... Sorry to trouble you again and again.
 
Yeah... Wait a little...Just now i shut down my laptop and downloaded your diction and started playing. Its an interesting game George...
 
Sorry, I am all out of ideas now - I haven't tried doing any development on Windows 8.1.
