Help [Q] Cannot figure which phone I have 900F or 900H

Hello
This is crazy.
I've got an S5 which I received from a customer the software says the S5 is G900H by dialing *#1234# however the sticker below the battery says it's G900F, the IMEI analyzer says it's 900H.
The Download Mode says firmware: Custom

The phone was bought from Pakistan

The problem I'm encountering is that the phone gets very hot and it hangs up and you cannot do anything after that..
Is it possible that someone flashed G900H's firmware to a G900F phone?

Firmware Version:
AP: G900HXXU1ANE2
CP: G900HXXU1ANE2
CSC: G900HOJV1ANCH

It is not possible to flash stock G900H, octa core, non 4G/LTE, Samsung firmware to the G900F, quad core, 4G/LTE, model. See #1.3 of 40 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide

The firmware details you mention are stock Samsung firmware for the G900H model for Pakistan, Product code PAK and CSC code OJV, however, the CSC code for that particular firmware is incorrect, NCH, (see below). Therefore, it could well be a customised ROM or adapted firmware of some description. Check the Knox flag in Download mode and see if it has been tripped.

Model SM-G900H
Model name GALAXY S5
Country Pakistan (PAK)
Version Android 4.4.2
Changelist 0
Build date N/A
Product code PAK
PDA G900HXXU1ANE2
CSC G900HOJV1AND4

It has not been tripped but it has been rooted.

What happens with this phone is when it gets a little hot, the phone reboots and on boot logo it gets stuck, I do not mean bootloop, I mean there is also a continious beep that never stops unless I pull off the battery...

Can the battery cause all this or is the motherboard faulty?

Not the motherboard or battery I believe. Have you tried wiping the cache partition in recovery or even a Factory Data Reset. It does seem that the phone, as you say, has been rooted and "adapted", and this is causing a boot issue. Is the noise you hear, like a very corrupt startup sound, (maybe a note or two or even a part of a note, being played)?

Yes factory reset I have tried.
The sound I hear it's a part of the startup boot and it is being played continiously unless I remove the battery

I'm also flashing G900HXXU1BOE2_G900HUUB1BOE2_G900HXXU1BOE1_HOME.tar.md5

It also hanged two times while flashing/downloading mode

At the momment

That is the firmware for South America... Uruguay and Argentina.
Whatever it is, after flashing it, again the phone gets very hot after some minutes of using, it reboots and gets stuck
Now in download mode everything says it's Samsung Official and Knox 0x0, I have also wiped and factory resetted it.
I'll try to replace the battery if the problem persists, it should be a faulty motherboard
