Face down or face up

Do you sit your phone down or up? Reason I ask, I like mine face down to protect the screen.

And, stop thinking dirty, lol.

Face down for two reasons; it has a curvy back and I have Tasker set to turn the display off after seven seconds. No wobbling on the table and no need to turn it off.

That's why my case has a little lip/edge on it

My otterbox case has a lip, but it is too bulky. And, my tpu case, feels good, but no lip. So, I am always switching.

Usually face up. Although at night I would put my N4 face down because the speaker was on the back, didn't want that muffled when my alarm went off in the morning.

My N6 is always face up. Got front facing speakers.

Not thrown at me and I don't drop my phone or drop things on it. Think it is an ease of mind thing. Just like my defender case.

Sitting at night watching tv I'll have it face up, when in bed sleeping I put it face down, but if I'm setting the alarm for early the next morning then I'll have it face up to turn it off quicker so as not to wake others

Face up while awake. Face down while asleep. The notification light is rather bright and bothers my wife if the screen is face up.

Face up to see notifications and the alarm,And the alarm allows me to turn phone face down to turn off alarm.

I can turn off or snooze my alarm via voice activated commands. It's pretty handy when staying at a hotel and the charger is on the other side of the room.
