no sir. but i DID hear that it's possible that your twrp may reset like this one (Same procedure).. Worth a try..??

Try post #2. Orange lettering. [emoji89]
Flash new recovery then reboot recovery to install ROMs
Nah, mine didn't have that option tho I tried anyway. Can only get to dl mode or watch the LG logo all day. It's toast without the kdz.

I still have many VS450PP's to play with. Is the partition list of the new recovery compatible with both as mine is? I really appreciate everyone's work. I'm hoping this will work with the button access to recovery on the VS450PP. Can anyone confirm?

The compatibility wasn't touched, far as I know. He just added button access to recovery [emoji6] . Worth a shot! [emoji41]

Op updated, added Unmodified ROM (no Root)
I'm seeing downloads but no info on flashes.. [emoji28] Guys, plz let me know if all is doing well? [emoji56] Need reports.. [emoji41]

I flashed the modded recovery on my Exceed 2 (the Realm is toast). The recovery alone won't get me "boot recovery from pwr OFF" on the VS450PP. I'm guessing I need to flash the modded boot.img for that ability? Kinda reluctant to flash the LS620 boot.img on the VS450PP and possibly have another brick IYKWIM.

I'm kinda strapped for time, so will need to try later. If you think this is the answer, please advise ;)

Then again, I *DO* have the kdz for this device and should be able to restore to pure stock (so long as I can still get into DL mode). Will await replies, prior to this attempt. Again, I'm pretty strapped for time :(

Thanks for all the work guys. Should you (or anyone) need the stock VS450PP boot.img (for comparison or whatever), I can up it to my AFH account.

EDIT: Had a few minutes, so you can find it here.

@SuperR will certainly have more answers than I may be able to provide at this time since he modified the recovery... @Father Guido - You read about letting both buttons go momentarily and repressing to finish tricking device into a fake "reset?" (Just making sure..) I don't know about modified boot.imgs allowing other accesses to recovery, cuz I'm still noob and LG has always seemed finnicky. Lmao

I've used the button combination correctly. I think that I need the init.d support which I believe comes from the modified boot.img. A quick look in the /system/etc indicates no such file exists. I'll unpack and compare my stock boot from the VS450PP with the modded one for the LS620 if I can find some time after work. If I'm out in left field in my assumption, lemme know before going through the motions.

I'm not qualified to tell if you are correct or not but I DID redo your boot.img with init.d support for that which you are working on. Must add own init.d folder in system/ect/... & Busybox required for stuff (of course). PM sent

Oh wow.. Ty-!! Awesome lookout! I must've posted that before the issue was discovered & fixed the other day.. I'll replace that ASAP

OP updated: Added Deodexed/debloated.zip
Grabbing it now. Will likely test tomorrow as I've had a few too many brews and don't want to accidentally hit the *fubar* button <g>. Backing this up in about every means I can to have recovery options should I brick (again). Thanks, and be well my friend...

I currently have no rom installed on my ls620 and I erased my backup by mistake.

How do i install the stock deodexed/debloated rom? I have twrp installed on the ls620. I added the .zip to the sd card, went into twrp and selected install and when I went to flash it gave me an error message.

This package is for w5c" devices; this is a "".

'E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/external_sd/lgRealm_deodexed_debloated.zip'
