I rooted my LG G Stylo two days ago and installed Link2SD, bought a SD card 64 Gigabytes Class Ten, partition it into two, both partition primary, the second partition is 16 gigabytes type 'ext2' and the other partition is 48 gigabytes type 'FAT32'. I linked several apps along with its data, I run those apps and have had no problems whatsoever, running as smooth and fast as silk. As a side note, I also installed Foldermount to use it for other purposes not suitable for Link2SD. Both apps working as expected.

yeppers...what 6th_Hokage said. please be sure to read entire post tho..not just OP. i needed to go the EXT4 route. "ran" awesome. freed alot of memory. good luck

maybe this a little more specific??

http://rootmyandroid.org/how-to-use-link2sd-tutorial-guide.html/

i had a ZTE Max that i had to partition the ext to "2", then when i ran link2sd the first time, when it asks you to choose partition, i HAD to choose "ext4". pretty sure on my stylo tho i partitioned as ext4. i also ran into link2sd install problems
if i didnt reboot after installing link2sd. EVERYTIME. maybe me just being overcautious, but it surely doesnt hurt.

MY LINK2SD settings:
in options. i chose install location as automatic. after i had everything up n running, i went back and MANUALLY moved apps to externalSD. Some apps would crash...a few favriote I had to leave on internal was things like Nova Launcher, EXDialer, Browsers, Poweramp Pro, etc. Really just kinda played with it awhile. BE SURE TO BACK UP!! also, i would test apps before deleting them by "freezing" them first in link2sd. let it run a week, if i didnt notice anything "funky"..id uninstall then. good luck...keep us posted
