6p & T-Mobile Band 12 Update?

Anyone have any guesses as to when we'll see band 12 go live with the 6p now that it has been officially approved by T-Mo? I'm sort of excited to have this, as I'm hoping it will improve my overall connection quality / range.

In general, Project Fi has been so far a pretty awesome experience on the 6p. It's an amazing feeling to deal with Google directly & have a phone "from" Google essentially as your carrier.
 
New articles today suggest that VoLTE has not yet been approved on the 6P, that for whatever reason T-Mobile jumped the gun adding it to their website. It is supposed to be "close," though still likely a couple of weeks away.
 
Bah... well, guess there is always something to be patient about. ;) I actually thought VoLTE was built in to marshmallow inherently if the provider supported it (not sure where I got that idea though!).

The problem is that there is no VoLTE standard; instead each carrier is creating their own implementation. Having an industry standard would really help.
 
Any updates on the nexus 6P and advanced calling features on Fi?

got recieved my nexus 6p. should i activate it first on verizon, my current carrier? or jump to project fi right away and do not verizon go near my new nexus 6p.
i live in miami, fl. i sometimes drive to orlando, naples or the keys.
 
looking on google support forums: many postings about issues with service. are most folks pleased with project fi service?
