Root Any news on CM for this phone

Heyo,

So a while back, I heard there was Cyanogenmod rom for this phone. Only thing is, at the time there were bugs with the camera and radio (ie what connects to the cell towers). I was wondering if there has been any progress towards this phone. If so, is there a new link to the rom or anything?

AFAIK the last release for that ROM was last... March? Dunno, was considering trying it out but the camera not working is a serious deal killer for me. Some have tried it with the idea of switching back and forth between CM and stock, but I don't want that hassle right now. It should be at least usable enough for me to use as a daily driver. At this point... might consider upgrading to the Tribute 2 or another model in a few weeks/months (maybe the Moto G 3rd Gen, if I can), maybe as part of an after Xmas sale. This Tribute is the first phone I've had in a few upgrade cycles that's lasted a year without any major issues.

If you're interested in trying it, head over to XDA developers, and look for a dev named Unjustified Dev. PM him directly for details on how to get the ROM.
 
I posted on the thread over there to see what the news is and am now waiting for a response.

I agree, camera is a deal breaker for me too.
 
See, i've seen the thread and all. But last I heard, the camera wasn't working and there were a few other issues. I was just curious if anyone here knew if they'd been fixed or not.
