I've not seen anything about smog on BBC news recently, which is what I usually look at. I'm right on the edge of the city, in the mountains, and it's not been too bad here. But I do have to go downtown sometimes.

Why would I want to? Most stuff I can look up for myself, and Google can't answer the questions I need answered. Like where did I put my glasses, and where are the kitchen scissors.

Just got back from seeing Spectre. Good acting, but the plot left a bit to be desired.

I was happy to see that Voldemort understands how important our civil liberties are.

It's in English, but has Chinese and English captions. I showed them Jungle Book last month. A lot of materials they use in this school are either Disney English or Pearson Education. Which is different to the usual Beijing People's Education Press books that one finds in many state schools here, which are IMO quite boring.

That's cool. I would think being entertaining would be key for educating young minds. I know my four children received a heavy dose of Disney books at preschool age. I enjoyed reading to them.. they enjoyed the material. Most every story had merit beyond it's entertainment.
