Help Curious Question New Owner

Okay well I'm a longtime android modder, flasher and rooter coming from the Samsung Note family, refusing to buy a Note5...

But I just won a metroPCS Stylo for $56 bucks free shipping mint condition clean imei, but the seller said they couldn't get past the wifi screen and it prompts for the previous users info.

I'm wondering if the seller is clueless about android doesn't know about using their own google info or it's a bug I've never seen or heard of before.

Has anybody else heard of this issue before, where after whatever process in setup it asks for said users password and already has a email/account entered?

Either way if that is the case I guess I'll just have to hope that LG Flash Tools and the latest KDZ file will fix that problem, doesn't seem to be too big of a problem to be fixed.

Will be sweet if they just never knew to sign in with their own google account and all I need to do is login to mine! LoL!

But for that price it was a worthy gamble!
 
Oh yea also in camera settings is there a way to program a back panel button to the cameras shutter/capture method, or could Key Plus for LG do this for me?

I don't wanna use hand gestures or tap anywhere on the screen I just wanna click a button and snap a picture simple as that. LoL
 
Factory reset protection is one of the newest tools google has come up with recently. I haven't rally heard anyone having success getting past that but then again I haven't had much reason to look into that. Volume buttons take pictures yes.

Would it be as easy as just LG Flash Tools and reloading a KDZ firmware file to the phone? That would wipe everything, I'd believe and make it like new otb state.

Lets hope to that! LoL

I did it, oh ye of lil faith!!! And I didn't have to pay for the software I used to do it either, person was trying to charge $17 bucks for LG BYPASS TOOL, but it's a Pirate's Life for Me. haha

I might donate some money to the developer of the software, or point him in the direction of the leaked version, so he can take the various steps to get it taken down.

I mean since it worked for me and all that, it's the least I could do. LoL
 
Was talking to the owner, he wanted $50 bucks for it or $20 for him to do it via TeamViewer, I gave him the forum link it was hosted on and the hosting link it was uploaded to.

told you earlier in week *wifi trouble on lg recent devices look at you tube* alot of people having wifi issues...
