Note 5 multitasking bug?

From this article:

http://www.boosharticles.com/2015/12/phablet-specs-comparison-lg-v10-vs-samsung-galaxy-note-5/

[...]

"The Note 5 offers either 32 or 64 GB of onboard storage without micro SD support slot. The phone is equipped with 4GB-LPDDR4 RAM that apparently does not support multitasking due to memory management bug. "

Huh??
That was sorta true when the NOTE5 1st hit the market, but,a couple of updates have cleaned that up somewhat.
If you're into the rooting/ROM scene, that's your best bet for the Note5 (voids warranty & permanently breaks Samsung Pay).
Most ROMS for the Note5 remove the Cheetah Mobile crapware & improve on the memory management/multi-tasking.
IMHO,it's a worthy trade-off to root/ROM.

Wait. Sorta true, then cleaned up somewhat. Sounds pretty nebulous ;) Is it an O/S bug, a firmware bug, or a hardware bug?

Samsung is tight lipped about most update specifics, but, just based on user experience, most have noticed improvement.
I'm guessing it's firmware, not an Android or hardware issue.

How does Samsung get an update into the firmware - is it just included as part of an overall Android update they put out?
