Root ZTE Warp Sync - All Things Root Guide

So I've tried a couple of the KK SD fix apks on my old LG F60 KK & am not convinced they work. Is KK SD fix something I need to install on the WarpSync to allow J.B. type SD Card access or are those apks not to worthy of they're claims???

Ahhhhh I gotch KK Fix app by nextapp OK ya I've tried before as well as the others on play store on my F60 bout a year ago. I didn't know half as much then. I will run the kk SD fix on the WarpSync in a couple days. Thanks bro!!!

I have never experienced any problems with sd card other than not been able to store apps in it but was intrigued by this SDfix app .
To this day don't know exactly what it does , saw a few videos on YouTube people showing the issues before this app and tried replicating it but still everything worked just fine unless not understanding completely i'd say this phone doesn't have this problem .
Have you tried it? if so did you test it? What are the main differences prior n after SDfix ? Thanks.

For one, I can now transfer file from internal to external SD without conflict/permission/access denial that I was getting previously. I also do a lot of theming on my device (FROM my device) itself without decompiling and some of my APK's I use for the process lock up or refuse to rename/work properly the way I'm used to (ICS, JB, ect..) And the SD fix took care of that issue. It changes something in framework that allows better capabilities & functions, also don't have to manually rename my dang files every time I tweak an app. That was what I had to do (rename) every time I changed an image in an app for theming. Kinda ticked me off.. The SDfix app made my job way less frustrating.

I can see that apks can/get moved to SD as far as visually seeing them be moved but is there any way to actually see where an app resides on an SDs partition?

Anybody purchase a WarpSync recently? Im only asking because I knoticed that its 4.4.2 kk build is upgrade/updateable to 5.0 I believe the artical stated. My concern is I don't want to purchase the WarpSync if its been KingRoot patched with an update. So ya hopefully the WarpSync I'm gonna check out Tommorow is running 4.4.2 and isn't already updated/patched with a later update to is kk build. Gonna call Boost today and ask them if they're WarpSyncs are running 4.4.2 kk. Just thought I'd ask here first. Not to mention boost isn't open right now to ask lol.

No LP except what @phenomx4 is building for us, the update.zip is a "security enhancement" of 32Mb.. LP would be like a 600+MB file instead. The Update.zip has Stagefright patches (who cares?) And KR patches. HIT CANCEL WHEN THE DEVICE CHECKS/TRIES TO DO "Firmware updates" or you'll never get Root. Ever. My thread has a FOTAkill.zip and instructions on how to install and remove the nag permanently. My upcoming ROM will already have the FOTAkill.apk installed but my ROM won't be ready before you activate your device.. Kinda been slacking due to some other things I'm try to do at same time but I swear I'll finish it
 
So this firmware update won't just install itself upon turning my sync on tommorow? it will ask if I want to install? and of course I would turn it down..... So this FOTAkill.Apk is this somthing I download and or flash? And if its nothing I flash do I install before or after root? My bad just putting everything I need together and on my SD for tommorow and I'm just unsure about this FOTAkil ordeal and what I need to do to get that and how to use etc. Oh shit I see you said its this FOTAkill is in you're thread. Is that the all things root for the WarpSync thread?
 
It's usually end up in internal Download folder, you'll probably end up having to move it yourself unless you have it set to something else (like Es Filer gives the option to direct your downloads elsewhere) I just tend to use ROM Toolbox a lot..

Well right. & boat mini pro which I use has the option to download to ext SD as well. My question isn't for where an apk goes right after a download but rather where if at all can I see an apk residing after I move it to ext SD card?

No, it won't ASK, it'll try to DL & install by itself upon activation.. In which you'll have the option to hit CANCEL. So pay attention to what your phone is doing/saying or you'll get that update.
 
So when I turn it on its just gonna start updating but have a cancel option button to click that pops up over the screen and I just hit cancel?
