im 18 yrs old and the only reason i ask noob questions is because im new to android platform and i want to be sure on some stuff and because my laptops has probs recognizing my phone .

One "fix" I noticed when bouncing to this firmware from Warheads (I am switching often between the no twiz and galaxy builds) is that Skype calling works over 3G via fring on this Galaxy build, where it wouldn't on the no twiz firmware. On no twiz I could hear the other party, but my mic didn't work.
 
Isn't that what your "source" is for BH_Man? ;-)

Or just make an unlock code. The power button goes to the screen to unlock. I find it 10 times easier.

or u can also just make a password pattern and then u just pres it not hold and it will show up and just make ure patern .

idk thats what i use.

again batterry is super great !

its better cus just press whatever button on the front and take u to the unlock thing which is kool . i mean i dont know thats what i do doe.

hey idk if its just me or not but the barcode scanner app has a bug. it keeps turning on the flash and blinking it on and off slowly on the app and its making it imppossible for me to use . any fix if anyone knows of ? ive tried going into camera settings and making auto-flash off but not even that worked. idk what else could fix this?

good to be back in action got my new behold 2 today....my how things have changed. got r11 downloaded just want to verify that im downloading everything the right way......
ops- Behold2_partition???
pda- Galaxy_BHMAN_UPDATE???

and as far as adding the data.zip, im not really sure on the process based on the fact we werent doing this last time i was on here....


im sure i could find it in the thread, honestly i just don't feel like reading through 40 pages to find it. all im asking is for someone to confirm or deny i am doing this right, and if im not let me know what i need to do to make it right...thanks alot behold 2 friends

if you decide not to use the Weather widget, just remove it & you don't need the data file for it...
 
thanks BH_MAN, its good to hear from the man himself. i guess to be more specific on adding the weather widget i dont know how to add it to the sd card, ive never completely understood the whole process of apps2sd and whatnot. i know your busy but is there a link you know of that would just give me step by step instruction on how to do it. in basic terms so it makes sense? haha


on another note, i just registered on androidspin, i will follow you everywhere you go. oh captain, my captain haha
 
Hay ummmmm my data isnt working....well i cant download apps...and idk how to fix it...is this just a reacurring issue in 11? And when does 12 come out..? Im loving these updates
 
Just curious, but.... The move to Spin wouldn't have anything to do with the recent forum outtages due to DB errors, would it?
 
Hi there. I received an update for google maps this morning but cannot get it to install (download unsuccessful). Anyone else having this problem? I rebooted, uninstalled the maps I did have (and now cannot get back on :( ). I realllllly don't want to do a reset just for maps. I've been nearly a week without one.

Also, are we all really moving to SPIN?

??? BH_MAN is moving his Roms there, but he will still be a member here as well! just all of his new dev will be posted there and my guess is he will spend more time on aspin. There is no mass exodus from adroid forums...YET, though many will join aspin now, this forum is still larger...FOR NOW. So register with aspin too if you'd like, but it's premature to say everyone is "leaving" but I'm sure that many members will leave. But with all the forum outages here lately many are ready to leave anyway!!!

ALSO PLEASE STOP HIGHJACKING HIS THREADS!!! That's probably one of the main reasons he's switching forums!
