New firmware for t-mobile LG STYLO H63110L

anyway, i have tied to download the zip, but i cannot. so, i will tell you how i updated: download lg bridge.exe program. while that was downloading- i returned my phone to unrooted state using --return to stock and bootstack h631v10j, as it was when you first bought it. hooked up my phone to pc and ran the program. when it was finished i used lg one click and re-rooted my phone. re-installing twrp with flashify. vwalla......updated and rooted. still 5.1.1 but way faster response.improved wifi conection and camera is superb!! Hope to find 6.0 update soon.....software is ready though. link for lg bridge:http://www.lg.com/us/support/product-help/CT10000025-1438110404543-preinstall-apps .............get air drive from market.
Thank you so much for finding this out! Did you have to lose your data during the process?

You can't, if you want root you have to do it after updating, if you try to update while rooted it won't go through.

Gotcha. I just read the Restore to Stock thread. I never read it as I never needed it until now.

I still have a question or two. I know I have to unroot and restore recovery to stock in order for the update to complete, but do I also need to remove Xposed and Viper4Android? Or will the update just flash over them and still complete?

I like keeping my phone up to date, but what I don't like is having to reflash all of the goodies again. But it's not too much of a big deal. It comes with root and wanting a phone customized to my liking.

here is a copy of the update H63110L
Thank you so much!!! I was just about to request this! I just restored my phone to stock and plugged my phone into LG Bridge tool, and it states my phone is already up to date. But now I just need to reroot and reflash TWRP and flash this! Thank you!

Thanks It Worked :D And Did You Notice Update Gives You Android Pay?

Should be able to, Tmo and Mpcs versions are the same software versions.
They are actually the same on a hardware level... Literally anything made for h631 will work with ms631. Hell I can even run the ls770s 5.1.1 system on top of our kernel. I'm using the ls770 Mm kernel source in combination with our defconfigs and whatnot to try and build cm13.

EDIT... again....

ok all is set in place and its building again

This is awesome news. I have a nearly ready (97%) done CM12 from the CM12 BETA thread thats been updated a little bit from before. Checking it out in a day or so. I hope to see this proposed CM13 ROM actually happen for us Stylo users. Thanks in advance and I hope it goes well. If you need a tester, just message me.

Wow... My bad. Been busy with work and tons of other stuff lately. Im having a hard time telling whats causing the booting issues due to lack of ramoops or any other logs for that matter. As of now, i have a rom that flashes and tries to boot, but restarts and kicks to recovery. Any ideas?

Nah not really lol. I am totally new to the ROM thing. I have been rooting for a long time but just to save space. Just last month was the first time I flashed a ROM. I learn fast and it helps I've been a pc geek for 15 yrs but I still have much to learn. Got my bootloader unlocked last night through ADB. Proud of that lmao! If and when you need a tester though I can do that. I do have files to return to stock so I can flash whatever now.
