Fingerprint unlock not working...

The fingerprint unlock is not working when swiping left/right and directly launching to an app from lock screen even though the instruction itself says to 'Use fingerprint or unlock code'. Anybody else experiencing this?

PS: Sorry if this issue had already addressed. Searched & can't find the issue. If in case I missed, a link would be appreciated.
 
Yep, i think it's done like that by default as it assumes you want to enter a pin, as you haven't initially unlocked using your finger.
 
Actually i lied i just tried again and its working, when you mean launching an app from the lockscreen you mean the two choice bottom left and right yes? This works for me at the moment. I do remember it being temperamental.

Are you using a widget to lock your screen by any chance? as this causes it to not work for me when its unlocked. So for me it's a bug with the lockscreen app.
