CPU Temperature.?

aida64_thermal.png

I’m looking for the CPU temp.
Anybody know what are the values in green and red box in the pic attached/linked signify?
This pic is from AIDA64/CPUZ

It's showing 5 and it will only show the cores that are in use/not idle :) Have a look in CPU, it will show 8.

No idea, its most likely to do with certain locations within the phone as well as the core CPU temps. Most smartphones have many sensors built in.

Your screeny is exactly the same as my s7 edge.

The problem is I don't have any external equipment to measure the temperature but the device feeling considerably hot(in minor load) makes me worry every time.

What do you mean by 'screeny'?

Screenshot.

At idle all my cpu cores are all at around 31C, battery is about 25C, but the ambient temperature inside or out needs to be taken into account as well. Does it do this after a restart? Try clearing the data cache. Or it could be cpu intensive app running in the background you are not aware of.

I always keep an eye on apps running in bg. BTW if you're using S7Edge it has better heat dissipation.

Are you measuring the CPU temperature with CPUZ?

Yep looks normal to me, what are you worrying about again? :)
The problem is when the device is under heavy load(NFS No Limits game). therm_zoneX values goes upto 61C, which I don't care if the device is still not much hot to hold in hand but it isn't. Compared to my LG G4 it gets hot soon for the same amount of load based on my tests. And makes me unpleasant of the fact that the I can't enjoy the amazing performance of gaming in this phone not even longer when compared to the HTC & LG phones I had. Even simple tasks like switching between Whatsapp and Tapatalk in the background for almost 5 min made the device unusually warm while there isn't anything else heavy running in the background. All these is considering the fact that my room temperature isn't very hot. What is your opinion?

I wouldn't worry about it, unless it's too hot to hold.
I hope I have conveyed my last message correctly. Just that I'm feeling it very hot even for lite tasks. I think the below attached images(4) will help you understand it better on the temp. variations on various tasks and where do I feel it warm/hot. I strongly believe it's unusual based on my experience in previous 5 years with various devices.
