New Icon update? Is it safe?

Hey all,

A new update showed up as downloaded and ready to install for my Icon today, via the Kyocera update tool. I have a FreedomPop Icon. Is anyone seeing this update notification? Has anyone installed it? My Icon is rooted, so mainly I'm hoping to avoid killing root or bricking the thing.

You already know it most likely won't install while your rooted.
I don't have busybox installed, and I haven't messed with the buildprop. I seem to remember reading (I think it was on xda) that those kind of changes will definitely block ota's. Additionally, I know the Icon is a little quirky in some ways compared to some of the Androids I've owned previously (been rooting since the CDMA hero). If I "already knew" for certain, I clearly would not have posted.

It didn't install for me. I had fixed the Google Maps issue by creating some empty folders named after flies and I assume that blocked it.
