Turn on and off automatically?

Hello!
I previously had a phone on andoid 4.0.4. It had the possibility to set the time when the phone should turn off and on automatically.
A while ago I read that this function doesn't appear in newer Android versions due to security reasons.
Anyway, is it possible to let the S7 turn off and on automatically?

What exactly do you want to "shut off?" The entire phone? Or the ringer?

I'm not sure of a way for the phone to shut off (or on) automatically. For wifi, ringers, etc there are loads of apps that'll do that (Tasker, Automateit, Llama, etc)

Yep, I mean the entire phone. I had this possibility in the setting on my old Android 4.0 phone.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record. Apps MacroDroid and Tasker can easily automate this function. In fact I use MacroDroid for this purpose, amongst many others.
