The savings would have to in the $200 price range,otherwise,it seems pointless.
I'd be more interested in a Note that is closer to the original,a 5.2"-5.3" display,with all the features in the normally aspirated version.I wouldn't mind extra junk-in-the-trunk in the form of a real-world use 2-day battery either.
Make it ruggedized,a la the Galaxy S Active series while you're at it (would like the Active option on any Note,for that matter).

That would be my choice,get a deal on a perfectly fine previous Note model,which I just did,going back to the Note4 from it's successor.
