Brand new s6 edge incompatible with Pokémon GO

So my girlfriend got a brand new s6 edge today and the device is showing incompatible.... anyone know what the problem might be? I made sure all GPS was on and she had signed up for Google maps.... I can only find it in the store by going to the pokemon website and clicking the store link.

Is your phone up to date and is Google Play Services up to date? And what exactly is the error code showing in the app or on Google Play?

Google play store is upto date I can download other apps with no problems. The phone is brand new out the box ever thing should have loaded directly when it was booted up correct? I play it on my s5 no problem.

I get no error just when i view it on Google play it says not compatible

Go to AndroidForums on the S6, click this link, and you'll be prompted to download, click ok, and proceed with the download. Once the download has been completed, open the file and install it.

This one is legit, its not hacked. It's just an apk put on a third party site for people like you with incompatible phones and for emulators on computers. This one's legit, I've tried it.

It is wierd, my friend downloaded the app and works just fine
