Well, what did they call Sir Denis Thatcher?

He never really registered in the news, but found fame as a puppet on the satirical Spitting Image show in the '80s. He was portrayed as a boozy upper class twit, dominated by his fearsome wife.

Actually, in Bill Clinton's case, the form of address is not a problem as former presidents (bizarrely to us foreigners) continue to be addressed as Mr President. Hilary would presumably be Mrs (or Ms) President.

There is still the POTUS problem. I guess you could have POTUS (Hillary) and PPOTUS (Previous President = Bill).

Re Prime Minister's spouses, they're just called by their name, so Theresa May's husband, Phillip is simply addresses as Mr May just as David Cameron's wife, Samantha was addressed as Mrs Cameron.

I know that if Hilary Clinton wins the presidency...
there will be 2 presidents in the white house!!! weird!

Ex-President Clinton will always be called President. so he will not have a new title.
Mr. President Clinton and Mrs. President Clinton.

but what if the husband was not a previous president..
what would the husband be called? Frist Gentlemen.. just does not sound correct.

Doesn't matter. Clinton won't become president. lol

OMG! That means Trump will the LAST president of the US - what an horrific way to go out :(
I really don't think Obama will step down if Trump actually bypasses the crooked means of the (fake) election and actually gets elected by the people, instead of Clinton..
