Need help with a failed OTA

First of all, I'm new here, so I'm sorry if this is the wrong section for this thread.

Okay, so I have a Doogee X5 phone(Lollipop 5.1) and during an update it failed and showed "Error!". I restarted the phone, when the phone showed it's usual starting boot screen, then turned black for a moment, showed the boot screen again and got into recovery mode(the "Error!" screen again). I still have a warranty for this phone and I'm sending it over to the people in charge of fixing it, however if they do not accept it, I want some last resort solutions. Yes, the phone is rooted with Kingo Root, but it doesn't matter if the root stays or not. All I want is to fix this phone any way possible if they don't fix it. So please, whoever has any idea(if possible, some low risk ideas) how to fix this phone, it would be VERY appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Also, if you need phone specs, no problem:
Doogee X5
1.5 GHz quad-core
1 GB RAM
8 GB ROM
Lollipop(5.1)

Never a good idea to take a OTA update on a rooted device.
Should be able to find the stock firmware here and install with the SP Flash Tool

Yeah, I'm a bit new to this rooting thing(although it really interests me), do you have a very detailed guide on how to use the SP Flash Tool around here? The more detailed, the better, since I don't want to miss anything. Thanks for this reply and in advance.

Thank you very much, although I'd like to ask a subquestion if it's not a problem: If you flash the wrong kind of Android using SPFT, can you try again or is it your last chance?
