Any Puffin Fans here? I Have a Question...

Been using Puffin for a while and love it. Fastest browser I've ever used in my life...on ANY device - even computers. But I noticed the other day it says in the description: "access to free Flash during the daytime". Huh? Why only during the day? Not true because I've been using it all the time at all hours and Flash works fine both day and night. Not a major thing...just wondering why the developers put this limitation when it doesn't exist.
 
I read that on their Play store page, too. Odd because "daytime" varies based on your location and the time of year. Do they claim you can play flash content for longer periods time in the summer months? I'd be curious how they explain that. ;)

Nope, same version. Check the first paragraph in the description.

Main difference between Puffin and Puffin Pro. is that Pro is not add supported.

Yes but that doesn't explain the "during the day" Reference in the description as Lunatic noted.
 
I'm just curious how they can restrict something with a relative time period that's not constant for everyone.
 
All that being said, I've been using Puffin, for s couple of years, and i recall the nighttime restrictions, though I can't remember how it was implemented. Pretty sure that it was a location based issue.
I was pleased enough with it that I upgraded to Pro, in short order.

Hey, let me ask you... What exactly is the difference(s) between the free version and the pro version? Been using the free version for a long time now and absolutely love it. Fastest browser I ever used in my life - on ANY device. Been considering the pro version (I would gladly pay the $2 or whatever it is - I can't remember now), but not sure what the differences are. I know it's not the Flash access because the free version has Flash 24/7. I can't find any limitations on anything in the free version, so I guess it's just the ads are removed in the pro version? Is that the only difference?
