Same app but I've got the Galaxy Note 7. I just switched from the Note 3, and I too cannot get the icon to show. I've ticked and untucked that setting and....nothing. I even wrote to developers, no reply yet.If so, go into settings/alarm clock settings, then scroll down towards the bottom to "hide alarm icon":
Hmm yeah, I gave up on that app soon after my new LG G5 arrived. It wasn't reliable anymore and the app hasn't been updated in 2 years so I'm wondering if it's a glitch with the new Android Version of MM.Same app but I've got the Galaxy Note 7. Actually the app works ok for me. But I'm like the guy above, that icon gives me confidence that the alarm is set.Hmm yeah, I gave up on that app soon after my new LG G5 arrived. Are you able to get the notification in the top bar?I have used Alarm Clock Plus in every version of Android from 4.2.2 to 6.0.1 and it has worked correctly in all versions with Samsung phones S5 and Note 4.
Well, after bragging a bit on the Alarm Clock Plus app that I use, guess what. It did not go off this morning. LolAh, I can see where you're coming from
Not sure if you're up to trying different alarm apps, but I am happy with this one...simple and so far it works.
Looks like there is an option to choose your music as the alarm tone:

Cool! And in a small twist of events, I'm trying the app you mentioned earlier, Xtreme Alarm clockWell, after bragging a bit on the Alarm Clock Plus app that I use, guess what. It did not go off this morning. Lol
So, yes, I am up to trying another alarm clock app. I think the mistake I made was clearing the phones cache with a cache cleaner before I went to bed but I'm not sure. So, I will give this one a try. Thank you for the link !!
I've been using that app for about 6 years now.Cool! And in a small twist of events, I'm trying the app you mentioned earlier, Xtreme Alarm clock![]()

Mikestony, I have abandoned all of the alarm clocks we have been speaking of because I found a good one that worked great this morning in waking me up. It's simple, got an awesome interface that is adjustable, and kinda beautiful too.Cool! And in a small twist of events, I'm trying the app you mentioned earlier, Xtreme Alarm clock![]()

Have a look at it, see if it works for you. I'm using it from now on. Oh yeah, you can add your own music as an alarm too. Perfect

Glad it's working for you. I'm also happy that we've both found an alarm clock app that works well for our respective phones.Sweet! Thanks bud! I'll check it out
So far so good on that Xtreme alarm clock you mentioned earlier---working great so far! But I'm always up for something different every now and then![]()
I really did like Alarm Clock Plus alot but as mentioned above, it just doesn't seem to go off every morning on my Note 7. If it did I would definitely stick with it.I don't like the Timely interface, my daughter uses it and to me, it is just more geegahs to mess with.
alarm clock plus is by far simpler, and quite reliable.
